Close to NEMO is the Maritime Museum, where children can see and learn how the Netherlands is shaped by the sea. They are free to roam aboard the Dutch United East India Company ship, “De Amsterdam”, which is docked at the museum. But on a nice day, it is ever so tempting to the visit the nearby Vondelpark with its playgrounds and skate rental.
